Polished Emailsplain text → live inbox
Interactive email, from a single paste

Your email gets skimmed.
Then it goes unanswered.

And stylizing one is cumbersome, even with generative tools. Polished Emails makes it easy and seamless: write the way you always do, and get back a styled, interactive email that captures answers right inside the inbox.

No AMP. No drag-and-drop. No new account for your recipients.

Getting started

Two ways to create an email.

Write something new in the app. Or forward an email you already have, however rough, and get the polished version back without opening the app.

In the app

Write it in the app

Best when you're starting something new and want to shape it block by block. Paste finished copy, or type a line of instructions and let AI draft it for you.

  1. Open the app and paste your email, your rough notes — or just your instructions.
  2. Pick a category and interactivity level, then generate.
  3. Fine-tune the blocks in the live preview.
  4. Hit Send, or copy the HTML.
Four steps, one paste

Write the way you always do.

Your words go out as you wrote them — the AI styles them and picks the interactive pieces that fit. And if you'd like, it can generate a first draft for you instead: share your instructions inside the email you forward, or in the tool.

01 / WRITE

Your words, or your instructions

Paste a finished email, memo or update — or just say what you want and let AI draft it. Pick a category and how interactive it should be, or let ✨ Auto decide.

02 / GENERATE

AI picks the blocks

Numbers become KPI tiles and charts. Questions become polls. “Can you come?” becomes an RSVP. It never invents facts you didn’t give it.

03 / REFINE

Tune it in the editor

Drag blocks, swap the whole visual identity, regenerate an image, add an audio episode. A live preview shows exactly what recipients will see.

04 / SEND

Send it

One click and it goes out under your name with replies pointed at you, or copy the HTML into Mailchimp, SendGrid or any ESP.

Seventeen block types

Here are the email capabilities.

Everything below is built from email-client-safe CSS — no JavaScript, no web fonts, no third-party trackers. (Images you add are served from our own domain.)

Seven themes, five style presets

Paste a whole visual identity.

One paste sets the palette, the card, the type, the buttons and the chart colours together — so the theme and styling stay consistent all the way down the email instead of drifting halfway through. Pick from the standard themes, or let AI generate your own.

Or swap the whole skin

Each style preset is a complete look — palette, cards, type and buttons — applied deterministically, so it never breaks the email. Each one is modeled on a real email we liked and rebuilt from scratch.

Why it’s different

There is no other email builder like this on the market.

Not a drag-and-drop canvas with an AI button bolted on the side. You write; it styles the whole thing, structures it, and makes it answerable — and it reaches every inbox without AMP, sender allowlisting, or an account for the people you are writing to.

Speed from a blank pageWrite, don’t build. No canvas to arrange, no template to fight, no blocks to drag into place.
Reach without setupUniversal CSS, not AMP. Nothing to register, nothing to allowlist, nothing for your recipients to install.
It’s yoursSend under your own name, keep the HTML, or run the whole thing on your own server. No cookies on your recipients.
Pricing

Privacy and security, built in from design.

Recipients are never tracked or identified. Unsent drafts are encrypted before they are stored. None of this was bolted on afterwards — and all of the detail is here, in full, whenever you want it.
Privacy by construction

Recipients stay anonymous. Full stop.

The Insights tab shows you the funnel and what recipients tap — never who they are. Event names and property keys are allowlisted, so pasted content, names and addresses physically cannot leak in.

No user IDs for recipientsRecipient taps and logged-out visits carry only a random per-tab session id. Your own signed-in events are linked to your account.
No free textOnly allowlisted enums and numbers are ever stored.
Coarse device dataPhone / tablet / desktop bucket. Raw user-agents never persisted.
Opt-outs honoredDo Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honored — those visits are never recorded at all.

Your data

Privacy · EU-strength

Collected sparingly, deleted on demand

  • We only collect what the tool genuinely needs — never your contacts' details.
  • Delete your account and everything in it, anytime, in one click.
  • Your drafts are encrypted and kept until you delete them — or auto-deleted on a schedule you pick.
  • We name every outside service that helps process your text.

We never sell your data

  • Your information is never sold, rented or traded — ever.
  • No hidden ad trackers following you around the web.
  • Ask what we hold about you and we'll show you.
  • Your recipients are never tracked or identified.
Safe by default

Encrypted, hashed, sandboxed

  • Unsent drafts are encrypted — never sitting in plain text.
  • Signing in is protected against the common web attacks.
  • The AI can only place safe content — it can't run code.
  • Your email address never lands in our logs.
Built for everyone

Readable for all

  • Your emails stay readable in every inbox, even the basic ones.
  • Designed for keyboard control and screen readers.
  • Respects reduced-motion and works in light or dark.
  • Real text, never pictures of text — easy to zoom or translate.

A plain-language summary of how we work — the full detail lives in our Privacy Policy below. We're a small team building responsibly; this describes our practices, not a legal guarantee.

Security

Trusted with a draft you haven't sent yet.

Your unsent emails and your sign-in are treated as sensitive by default — encrypted at rest, and never quietly logged.

◆ Encrypted at rest

Email bodies, subjects and session material are sealed with authenticated AES-256-GCM. Hold the key outside the data directory and a stolen database file stays unreadable.

# Hashed sessions

Sign-in lives in an httpOnly, Secure cookie. The server keeps only a one-way hash of your session token — never the token itself.

<> The AI can't emit HTML

Generation returns only schema-validated blocks, and every value is HTML-escaped at render — so pasted text can't inject markup or script.

⚑ Injection-resistant

Your text is spotlighted as content, not instructions; javascript: and data: URLs are dropped; input is capped; and generation runs with no tool or data access.

⇄ CSRF-checked sign-in

OAuth is an authorization-code flow with a state-cookie CSRF check and a server-side token exchange. Everything you save is private to your account.

▩ Logs that don't identify

Email addresses are masked before they ever reach a log line. Raw user-agent strings and IP addresses are never persisted.

Privacy policy

The whole policy, in plain English.

No dark patterns, no data brokerage. Here is exactly what is — and isn't — collected.

What's stored

Your account email, the emails you save (encrypted at rest), anonymous tallies of poll and RSVP taps, and your own product events (generate / save / send) linked to your account so we can see where people get stuck. That's the whole list.

Where your text goes

To turn your draft into blocks, the text you paste is sent to third-party AI providers — NVIDIA and Google, and Anthropic for the top-quality pass — for processing only. Self-hosting with your own keys keeps that relationship entirely yours.

What's never stored

No IP addresses, no raw user-agent strings, no cookies on your recipients, and no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Your content is never sold or used for advertising.

How long we keep it

Saved emails are kept until you delete them — switch on auto-delete after 7, 30 or 90 days if you prefer. Analytics events go after 90 regardless. Delete an email or your entire account at any time and the image files it referenced are swept along with it.

Your recipients' privacy

Poll and RSVP links are intentionally public — recipients are never asked to sign in. A tap records only a coarse family like iOS · Safari: no IP, no identity, and no way to join it back to a person.

Your controls

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are always honored, analytics can be switched off server-side, and every email you make is yours to export as HTML or run on your own server.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Polished Emails?

Emails today get skimmed and go unanswered, and stylizing one is cumbersome even with generative tools. Polished Emails fixes both. It turns your text into a styled, interactive email — polls, RSVP buttons, KPI tiles, charts, tabs, accordions, animated loops — that recipients tap and answer right inside their inbox, and the answers come back to you.

How does it work?

Write the way you always do and paste it in. The tool reads your text and chooses the interactive pieces that fit — turning numbers into charts, questions into polls, and “can you come?” into an RSVP. If you would like, AI can generate the first draft for you instead: share your instructions in the email you forward or in the tool, and it writes from those. You fine-tune everything in a live editor before sending, and it never invents facts.

Do I have to let AI write my email?

No. AI drafting is there if you want it, not in the way if you don't. Paste finished copy and the AI only styles it and picks the interactive blocks — your words go out as you wrote them. Ask for a draft and it writes one from the instructions you give it. Either way you see every block in a live preview before anything sends.

Can I turn an email I already received into an interactive one?

Yes — and it's the fastest way in. After you sign up you get a private forwarding address. Send any email its way — even a rough one with mismatched fonts and images knocked out of alignment, optionally with a note at the top to steer it — and a clean, realigned, interactive version arrives straight back in your inbox, ready to send on. The refined version keeps what made the original recognisable: its brand colour is carried over, and every image goes back where it was in the flow, at its own size rather than stretched to fill the width.

What kinds of email can it make?

Seven categories, each with its own voice, palette and preferred blocks: Professional, Newsletter, Invitation, Announcement, Thank you, Fun & playful and Birthday. Pick one, or let the tool read your text and choose — a metrics rundown becomes a Professional brief with KPI tiles and a chart; a party becomes an Invitation with an RSVP and a calendar invite.

Can an email include an animated GIF?

Yes, on the celebratory categories. When a Birthday or Fun & playful email has no picture of its own, a looping animation is added for you — no prompt, no hunting for a GIF. The loops ship with the tool, so they load without a third party and look the same every time; you can point it at Giphy or Tenor instead, or switch the whole thing off. Animations you already had in a forwarded email are preserved as they were.

Can I get an audio version of an email?

Yes. Any email can be recorded as a short episode — either a single narrator or a two-host conversation — and it travels as an MP3 attached to the email itself rather than a link, so it still plays offline and after the email has been cleared from our servers. The category sets the speaking register and the voices, because emphasis that works in writing is silent when read aloud. Capped at three minutes.

Can I keep my own branding and styling across the email?

Yes — that's the point of one paste. Every style choice is applied as a whole visual identity: palette, card, type, buttons and chart colours all move together, so nothing drifts halfway down the email. Pick one of the five standard style presets — Sunrise, Midnight, Ledger, Bulletin or Boardroom — or let the AI build the look around your own brand colour, which it reads from your text or carries over from an email you forward.

Do the interactive parts work in Gmail and other email clients?

Yes. All interactivity is built with email-safe CSS and no JavaScript. It's fully tappable in Apple Mail and iOS Mail, and the same email automatically falls back to a clean, readable layout in Gmail and Outlook. Polls, star ratings and RSVP buttons are links, so they record responses in every email client. Nothing is ever hidden behind a control the reader cannot operate: where the interactive parts are stripped, every panel simply arrives open.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. You only ever write text. The tool handles the structure, styling and interactive blocks, and picks from seven categories and five style presets. There's no HTML, no drag-and-drop builder, and no design skills required.

Is it free? How much does it cost?

It is free during the free beta — no card, no credits, no tiers. Fair-use limits keep one account from soaking up the shared AI budget: 20 generations a day, 150 a month, and 5 audio episodes a day.

Can I send from my own email address?

Emails go out from Polished Emails’s own authenticated domain, with your name in the From line and your address in Reply-To — so replies land in your inbox. Nothing to configure, no app password, no DNS. You can also copy the finished HTML into Mailchimp, SendGrid or any other email service.

What kinds of interactive blocks can it create?

Polls, star ratings, RSVP buttons with calendar invites, KPI tiles, bar charts, progress bars, timelines, accordions, tabs, image carousels, callouts, buttons, AI-generated images and an attached audio episode — seventeen block types in all, plus the animated loops the celebratory categories add on their own.

What happens to my data and my recipients' privacy?

Your drafts are encrypted and kept until you delete them; account settings has a switch to delete them automatically after 7, 30 or 90 days if you would rather. Your recipients are never tracked — no pixels, no cookies, no open tracking — and they are only identified if they choose to be: after tapping a poll or RSVP they are asked for a name, email and phone, every field optional and skippable. Your own signed-in usage is linked to your account so we can see where people get stuck. Your data is never sold. The text you paste is sent to AI providers (NVIDIA, Google and Anthropic) only to build your email.

What happens if the AI is unavailable?

Several AI agents sit behind the tool, tried in order, so one going down or being retired by its provider is invisible to you — the next one picks the work up mid-request. If every one of them is unavailable, we do not fall back to a mechanical rewrite and send it anyway: you get a short note saying so, and your original is untouched. A worse version of your email is not a useful thing to receive, and you would have no way of telling it apart from the tool simply being bad at its job.

Can I run it on my own server?

Yes. It can be self-hosted so no data ever leaves your machine, using your own email and AI provider keys. Email hello@polishedemails.com if you'd like help setting that up.
